At the transition entrance point to university and the foundation pillar of university courses, the curriculum of a large first year courses commands the knowledge from a manifold of pedagogical and educational backgrounds as well as experience to balance educational necessities, institutional constraints and pedagogical aspirations.

I find it most satisfying when pedagogical aspirations find a way to navigate the many constraints.
